HKDSE ICT, taught from the other side of the paper
I scored 5** in the 2024 HKDSE ICT exam, then spent the following two years teaching the subject, co-organising a mock exam, and reviewing exam-style questions for an assessment committee. Lessons are built around what actually earns marks, not just what's in the syllabus.

Where the material comes from
Lessons draw on a shared teaching library of over 800 pages, co-written with other ICT 5** graduates and covering both the compulsory part and all three electives—Databases, Web Application Development, and Algorithm and Programming. It includes original questions, full past-paper coverage, and targeted exercises, alongside a detailed analysis of the 2025 HKDSE ICT papers I wrote to understand how the exam is currently set.
Beyond the current syllabus, I built my own foundations in networking and software development early on, and went on to study the full range of topics needed to support students across all three of today's electives—so a student's specific elective combination isn't a constraint.
Enrolled students also get free access to frontier AI models I provide, to support revision between lessons.
Who this is for
One-to-one and small-group lessons, online or in person, for students building foundations, closing specific gaps, or pushing for a top grade. I've taughtmore than 20 HKDSE ICT students this way since December 2023—including students with weaker starting points and students with special educational needs.
That teaching experience is backed by two roles behind the scenes: founder ofHong Kong ICT in Education Focus Group(formerly TechGrade.ICT), where I coordinated a free mock exam for over 200 candidates, and a former Assessment & Executive Committee member at the Hong Kong Academy of Information and Communication Technology, reviewing and developing mock-exam questions against HKDSE standards.
